I’ve written so many stories about pets and pet health for Spot Magazine, but this one, for October 2012, was one of my favorites. This dog joined an acting troupe for a production of “Of Mice and Men” just before she died of cancer. Have you read the book “Of Mice and Men”? Talk about heart-wrenching. It tells the story of two flawed farmhands, and there’s a dog that plays a central role. Ollie took that role on, and excelled. I’m sure she got a Tony Award in dog heaven.
