I first met Cristen when I was researching interior designers in Eugene for an article on designers for Eugene Magazine. Cristen responded with some photos of her own home that she designed but also told me that she was decreasing her time spent designing interiors for clients in favor of her jewelry work. She invited me to her home studio to see her work and I was amazed at how beautiful her work is. She collects antique stones and jewelry as well as mosaic pieces from Italy and uses those to make gorgeous modern pieces. She was kind and generous as well as very talented.
